Beginners Pattern Engineering
Pattern engineering enables a designer to easily turn their ideas from sketches to reality.
This course will teach you the fundamentals of women’s pattern manipulation and engineering, so that you can draft everyday designs. From developing well fitted basic pattern blocks to manipulating them into a wide variety of clothing styles, this stimulating course teaches you the art of manipulating and shaping a flat piece of fabric to conform to one or more curves of the human figure.

Short Courses run once a week in the evenings from 17:00pm to 21:00pm or on Saturday mornings from 09:00am to 13:00pm and Saturday afternoons from 13:30pm – 17:30pm.

Cost of course: R9 800.00
A deposit of 25% of the course fee is required to secure a position.
All fees are valid until the 31st October 2023.
OPTION A
Balance of course fee paid in full prior to the commencement of the course.
OPTION B
Balance of course fee paid in three equal instalments. Please note that this option has an additional charge of approximately R450.00.
Each short course has an additional payment for equipment which varies from course to course. Specialist equipment is supplied by Villioti and allow a budget for consumables.
